• Tank Setup: Provide plenty of hiding places with rocks, caves, and driftwood. A sandy substrate is ideal as they enjoy sifting through it and digging.

   

• Community: They can be housed with other similarly sized and semi-aggressive cichlids. Avoid housing them with very small, delicate, or slow-moving fish.
