Direct Parrots | Shamrock Macaw
The Shamrock Macaw is a first generation hybrid macaw. It is a cross between a Scarlet Macaw and a Military Macaw. This species is a captive bred hybrid macaw. Hybrid macaws are rarely found in the wild. Both parents of the Shamrock Macaw also contribute to the striking colours of their chicks although the father’s have the dominant gene and this will influence their final appearance.
