Synodontis Petricola

The Synodontis Petricola, also known as the Pygmy Leopard Catfish, is a striking freshwater species from Lake Tanganyika. Recognised for its creamy body covered with dark spots and playful nature, it’s a favourite among aquarists looking for a unique and active bottom-dweller.

These social catfish thrive in groups and prefer aquariums with rocky structures, caves, and plenty of hiding places. Hardy and community-friendly, Synodontis Petricola make an excellent choice for African cichlid tanks as well as larger community setups.
